Welcome to Passport Parenting! My name is Maureen Schuster, wife, mother of three boys, Social Worker and writer from the United States. In November 2012 my husband announced it was official that we were moving to Singapore in June. All of the “what if” discussions we had has over the last several months were suddenly replaced with we’re actually doing this; excitement, nervousness and what the heck are we going to do about our house, kids education, my job and our cars. More than a year after the decision was made we are in Singapore living and learning. Enjoy my stories of this life changing experience as I chronicle a life well lived as we get our passports stamped along the way.
